New law amemdment companies don't pay detention?

    Well who really in Congress is a former trucker..probably none...maybe a reason none of them can relate. Maybe some of y'all should consider running for office when you get done with trucking..you can get your monthly pension for life after just one term.

    Only if you let them. I'm in LTL and we get overtime after 8 and 40 hours. Trucking industry is exempt by law from paying OT, but we get it because the companies fear drivers organizing.

    There is no fear of drivers organizing in OTR, thus you guys get the shaft. That's why I left OTR over 20 years ago and never looked back. Too many men only cared about miles, chrome, big radios, and showing off their big red rooster cruisers.
