New license and only two nights left at home...

Sometimes that's the way it goes in trucking. It can be rush, rush, rush or hurry up and wait. The only thing you can plan on is the plan changing. Every you leave the house it will most likely be that way. Sometimes home time is more stressful then just staying out. I would prepare your wife though you are going to get to see her a handful of times a year. This is just part of an over the road driver and why they get paid good money to do it. If you can talk her into it she should get her license. Now that's good money! Then you will stuck to each other 24/7! Good luck man orientation can be fun and boring all wrapped up in 3 days! Lots of movies and paperwork.
