New Love's exit B3 I90 Canaan Ny

The pilots in new england are gross. I cannot stand loves either. Shame the ambest can't charge $10 like most others do.

 

Both Pilots are madhouses-the one in Castleton even more so due to the lack of parking. Last time I was there it was overflowing even at 2 in the afternoon.

 

Ya. Crap is ridiculous. Gotta adapt. Up at 2 am, park by 2 pm.

 

A lot of you guys have probably never bothered with it but that truck stop in Albany off 787 along the river is a nice little place. Teeny-tiny bit of a hassle to get into off the local streets but I've never *not* gotten a spot there and they have a good chow place to get a big steak and potato for dinner. cheap showers too.

 

heh, I do it just about the opposite of that. Doesn't really work anywhere else though which can be a schedule buster.

 

Which exit is that? I'll have to check it out.

Now everyone is going to know about this spot.
I've used this spot since the early eighties.
Although I was there today and there was no place to park and fuel was 10.00 a gal.
I wouldn't waste my time

 

Exit 2.

If you're coming north on 787 (like from I-87) it's easy to get into. If you're coming south on 787 from 90 it's a bit of a hassle. You have to hook around onto the state highway and putt through town and make a couple right hand turns but it's not that big of a deal.

 

Haha. Sorry man. I like to throw the independent places an endorsement whenever I can.

 

Another great place up that way is the Wilton Travel Plaza just north of Saratoga Springs. The restaurant is good and they pump your fuel for you! Big place lots of parking.
