By the way I don't stop at TA, even if my truck was on fire and they were the only ones with a hose to put it out. From them trying to sell me on alternators, to the overpriced garbage, and their FF joints are more than PFJ, to the fact they practically roll up the sidewalks at 9 pm, and many are downright filthy. I swore they'd never get my business again and I meant it.

Yeah. They could use one closer to Chicago land. Closest one is on 57 at the 308. Then there's one at on 80 at the 81. Then 90 at 3. Meanwhile they're a pilot/road rangers everywhere it seems.

There's a Loves down 55 a ways south at Dwight,IL I think it is, that is close enough to smell the City when the wind is out of the northeast.

Loves is along 80 many places, although there are just 4 that I know of in PA and only 1 on 80 at around the 240, but construction in the area makes that one a pain to use if the load is heavy. I like the one just north of the 81 and 78 split on 81, the one on 78 gets packed full sooner.

There's only one actual Pilot along 80 in IL, at Minooka, exit 122, there's a J at La Salle exit 77 and a couple of Road Ranger Pilots, one at exit 93 Ottawa, and one at exit 56 Princeton.

Minooka tends to be busy and crowded. Princeton is far enough away from larger cities and has ample parking.

As far as liking or disliking a chain, it takes all kinds to make the world go around. They all seem to be doing better at least on showers from what I've seen, but a bad experience at any of them sours many of us for the same brand again.

You're right. I hate TA. For a myriad of reasons. I expect a little bit when I spend money, I expect cleanliness and service. I'm giving them my money. I expect service. And they were late for filings. Why? Because things aren't that rosy in the world of TA
