New muffler for a C-15 Cat

    what kind of truck. if its the streight one us don. m1000463. if its the one that that the in and out side are on the same end the only good one that i know of is from pp.

    call pit power i know they have one for your truck. don't know of anyone elese that makes one like that . that is a flow through good look

    It's off topic, but I didn't realize that pittsburgh power was as popular as it is, I used to go there alot to deliver parts to them when I drove delivery for a GMC dealer.

    The mufflers that PP sells is made by Donaldson and are the exact same
    muffler as the donaldsonm1000463.

    PP just sells it as their own.

    I bought 2 of the cheapest Donaldson mufflers sold at Truck Pro for $63 each, cut out the bottom baffle with an air grinder and picked up 3 - 4 tenths and power too, almost no increase in noise. Anyone know if the platinum in my take off catalytic converter mufflers is worth salvaging??? I was told that the replacement cost is like $3000 EACH!

    they do recycle it but I don't know how much of it you need to make it worth recycling
