    Still here at the pilot! I arrived early yesterday and the appointment is not till 7 pm today, Albertsons won't take the load ahead of time and my company fired their locals, guess i'm being punished for arriving early.

    Yup been trying to work my way back home to Tx . No way I'm just gonna sit in a truck stop so I just keep the wheels turning until I get home . It's not a ideal situation but I'm still making money.

    I already got a preplanned load home (El Paso, TX) just Albertsons won't take the load early, they're very strict! Gotta wair till the appointment time! Are you doing flat, dry van, refrigerated or step deck ?

    Dry van , I was trying to get to Elpaso yesterday but they wanted me to drop trailer and come back 8 hrs later and drive overnight. Not enough money for all that. Settled on this load to SLC that's 18k and picked up the same hr I booked it . I don't like waiting or doing alot of deadhead , cant wait to get home gonna sit for a couple of weeks see how this plays out .

    Do you know anything about flatbed danny ? It seems you're hauling dry vans but have you ever spoke to fellow truckers have they shared with you anything helpful? I'm thinking of hauling flatbed for landstar and get the experience but afraid the $$$ won't be worth it

    I know freight is down across all load types , freight rates may have bottomed out this week. Rates in the next 2 weeks will probably go up a little with Tx,GA and Fl opening up but who knows. Check out the Flatbed forums there are a couple threads talking about rates .
