my husband is a new o/o with dart. we are having a horrible time with fuel costs. is there a trick to this or something? he is spending in excess of 1000 dollars a week on fuel. some have told him to fill up...some have told him to just get what he needs. what should he do? does anyone have any advice? and also does anyone have an opinion on DART?:biggrin_2551: any advice would be much appreciated..we are totally freaking out.

They do but the mileage pay isn't very good! My Dad tried the Dart Advantage, he lasted a week.

Is your hubby buying the truck from Dart?

The smartest thing he can do to save fuel... Shut the truck off when at all possible, buy an electric blanket and when weather permits it sleep without it running.

Some more information is probably needed here. What motor does he have ? How many miles on the truck ? How many miles is he running per week ? Does he know what he is getting right now for MPG ?

Providing these answers could help you with your original question. Just a thought......

Yeah really. 3000mi, 7mpg means you're paying around $2.33 a gallon.... that's nice..... we haven't seen fuel under $2.50 in these parts in a long time.
