as your already finding its going to be hard to find a company to lease to with no experience. and its going to be hard to find insurance to run your own authority. your already in deep so keep your head up and dig your heals in. if you got a big enough pocket book and some smarts you might make it. its not the way i would suggest going but your already in neak deep. i have found truck insurance to be kind of a pain in the ### even with experience. a good insurance agent will be a valuable tool. also might try progressive for insurance you might end up having to stay in a radius and pay out the nose for it however.

That's all we ever done was 600 mile radius. Check with Auto Owners insurance. They are who writes my policy. It's about 5grand a year.

Bob, here is some advice, put everything on hold until you understand what's going on. Just the way the questions are formed is a big flag of failure attached to it.
Just a hint, you don't get hired, you are contracted or leased to a carrier when you own your own truck. You pick the company carefully and with your business goals in mind and you don't need your own authority, you don't need to worry about a lot of things like some insurance because you are part of their fleet. If you want to know if you can make money leased to a company, you can.lzgny Thanks this.
