When it comes to ride quality, tire wear, & alignments, go to assignment solutions in KC, mo. Chad Hohn knows what he's doing. He does alignments but he can help with ride quality & tire wear issues as well.

Chad does great work but he's too far away from me to be practical. So far his alignment has been the best by far but i cant lose a couple of days every time I need an alignment.

When I went to Chad and the shop they re-torqued my drive wheel- bearings, new poly- bushings, tie rods ends and did an alignment . The truck drove great for about a month and then started pulling right again. So far I haven't been able to find someone that can align my truck as good a Chad. I havent been back because I dont understand how he is the only guy in the country that knows how to align a truck properly. I live in Chicago there has be someone around here right? Well i havent found them.

    So I have done:

New drive tires, which I suspect are a big part of the problem but they have too much thread left to replace all 8.
New steers Michelin X-line, great tires
    New shocks Sach OEM
    New Poly Bushings
    New carrier bearing
Centramatics which made a big improvement.
    Million Alignments

I going to replace my airbags because they feel a little soggy when I get loaded heavy. While Im at it Ill replace all the u-bolts and steer axle bushings. Finally ill replace the brake drums and make sure wheels are good. If this doesnt help Im selling the truck. It's a Coulumbia that has already pay for its self twice over so Im not worry about letting it go.

Ive been eyeing Fiztgeralds T660 and Im probably going to end up buying one.

I live a little closer to Chad than you, about 5 hours away. Lol. I don't mind sitting for a day or two every 6 months to make sure it's done right. You've done a lot to the truck. One would think it would drive perfect. Lol

They are about a mile south of I-40, where the TA East is on exit 140. Call ahead to make sure they have an opening.

I hear good things about Chad too.

I have been chasing for 2 years now. It’s not perfect but it gets better with most things I’ve tried. The gains keep getting smaller though.

As far as general ride, would be the tourque arms and spring pads. Then the cab bushings and changing the front shocks. Truck rode a lot better after them too.

I’ve never had it aligned at a shop but tires still Looked good at 200k miles. The truck came with centamatics on the front.

As far as vibration I had the driveshaft done 3 times now and it’s finally fixed. That caused a high speed vibration I chased for a year.

The shimmy was minor and most company drivers probly wouldn’t of even noticed it but I bugged the crap outa me. There was about 3 little cuts on the inside tread within about 8”. It started wearing funny right there about 15k miles ago. Not bald but maybe 3/32 less tread for about 12”.

Figured at 200k miles I got my money’s worth? Bam! No more shimmy.

Thanks. I know right where they are. I have never heard of anyone using anybody in OKC but I'll give them a chance on your recommendation.

It's best to bobtail there. There's not a lot of room to get a trailer in their lot.

Edited to add: a three axle alignment took about three hours, including installing two new steer tires.
