I don't know why you think I have a poor business plan. I haven't given a description of it anywhere in this forum. No, I've been planning this out for some time. It isn't perfect as nothing is and yes there would be risk involved as there always is. I am contemplating your suggestion though to get a regular company gig for a bit longer and save up more to be in a better starting position. It is a good idea I'm not saying it isn't just getting impatient I guess.

D.Tibbitt, Ruthless, Midwest Trucker and 1 other person Thank this.

Very gently, you need to separate what you need and are capable of right now with what you want in the future, and focus on the first. That's a steady company job to get the stability and ability to plan rationally back.Ruthless and Midwest Trucker Thank this. -
The numbers on cash were just that, the numbers on how much cash I have. Just part of the plan, but I understand where you coming from though.
The finance a house plan/scenario would involve me getting a company position and then applying for a loan. Yes, I've been unemployed for some time but I was employed before that for many years.
I tend to believe what you're saying as I do not think a bank would want to give me a loan until I've been working for some time either but the mortgage broker said since I have had a stable work history before the current unemployment span it wouldn't be a problem once he could verify current income. I mean I hear what your saying I don't see it happening either, that's just what the mortgage broker said.
One thing I would like to add. There are many naysayers out there saying you gotta have all this and all that and bags of cash and if all your ducks aren't in a row well you'll just fail miserably. This is just not necessarily true. After you hear this enough you just want to throw up your hands. I mean there's got to be a point where you say the hell with it if it flys it flys and if it don't it dont'. Just saying. Not saying I'm at that point yet but will be at some point. I still have a family to support so it's not just me. If I fall by myself it's one thing but with a family quite another.
Thanks again for your input. I appreciate it. -
Oh how it so awfull oh my how can we go on like this I mean good grief. Man I've never seen anything worse. It's just horrid. None of your ducks are in a row.. you don't have this and you don't have that.
Lots of encouragement lol.
I know it's not the best situation but gimme a break. -
