Hello, I am a new driver I have my own truck (no Trailer) I'm in so California and would like to run local. what is the best way to get loads? I see a lot of advertising but they all want at least 1 year experience. does any one know of companies that would hire o/o with less then 1 year experience??

    Thanks

the business plan calls for an idea what to do with a truck before you buy it
it would probably be best to find a company like an intermodal to lease your tractor on with let them book loads dispatch you while you learn the rest

    jbatmick and Jenrik Thank this.

you haven't mentioned whether you have your own authority

Not to be but how old are you one thing that matters is you can get your CDL at 18 but companies can't put you on their insurance but since you have your own truck you should talk to insurance agency's and also try the logging business
