Hello, I am a new driver I have my own truck (no Trailer) I'm in so California and would like to run local. what is the best way to get loads? I see a lot of advertising but they all want at least 1 year experience. does any one know of companies that would hire o/o with less then 1 year experience??

the business plan calls for an idea what to do with a truck before you buy it
it would probably be best to find a company like an intermodal to lease your tractor on with let them book loads dispatch you while you learn the rest -
we use internet truckstop load board, landstar has a board, mercer has a board, ch robinson has there board as do most companies. good luck

you haven't mentioned whether you have your own authority
many brokers wont work with new O/O
you have no track record of on time delivery good equipment etc -
this company has a drop yard in Pomana
they have teams run freight Chicago to Pomona
and have drivers deliver local
