Hi,
I would like to start new company as independent owner operator (just got AZ licence).
I was looking around to find the insurance as I do not have any experience but no
one company gives me the quote.
Can anybody knows where I can get the insurance.
Thanks!

You have 5min. On your AZ CDL and I'm assuming you have your own truck. And don't know why you can't find insurance?
Your high risk in the insurance worldstillwurkin Thanks this. -
They don't want to give you a quote because then they feel responsible for your heart failure at the price.
Progressive is your only option I believe, but it could easily run 2-3000 dollars a month maybe more. It's hardly workable for a new guy to do it. If you have so much as a seatbelt ticket on your record it will be astronomical.
Not even all companies that work with Progressive will insure you. You'll have to check probably out of state options even.
You probably think I'm full of it, but I know several new owner operators and they all can barely make it work insurance is so high. And that price I gave you is definitely liability only. Add whatever cargo insurance and your own coverage plus whatever you may need to go into the warehouses and it will get really steep. Good luck though. I wish it was easier for new guys, but too many fancy lawyers waiting for you to mess up so they can jump on you.stillwurkin Thanks this. -
