If you want to stay within a state or region and find good-paying freight as a new motor carrier, then I can definitely see folks struggling. When I started, I drove everywhere mostly because I didn’t have access to plenty of good-paying freight and also because I wanted to know how things would turn out. As a new motor carrier, one needs to make sacrifices. Expecting to have good-paying freight right away is unrealistic.

Agree 100 percent. I have been going pretty much anywhere that will pay. Was just saying Atlanta sucked on Rates. To many trucks and not enough loads. Let alone the ungodly roads in that area.

    PE_T Thanks this.
