May be interested in this with a Cat 6nz, Pre emissions Isx or N14 especially with a custom sleeper.

I didn't know Fitz started putting anything other than Detroits in their gliders ?

The Detroits in our gliders from them have been nothing but problems, big surprise......*sarcasm*

The boss man just bought a 579 this week from Peterbilt know idea what motor is in it.....He said the truck is fully loaded and really nice on the inside so far he is really impressed.

If they're not willing to bolt in a factory reman engine, then walk away. Run a search on how horrible Fitzgerald has been lately

    Tall Mike Thanks this.

I believe they started offering them with both cats & Cummins as options. I heard the cats are coming from Thompson I believe.

    Tall Mike Thanks this.

IMG_4856.PNG I stand corrected, they offer Detroit and Cummins as options. If you want a Cat, you need to purchase from Thompson or call Fitz and ask them.

I'd take an N14 over that boat anchor Series 60 in mine right about now..

Pushing oil at 254k and it was doing it before the boss man let me have it.....None of us are impressed with Fitzgerald or Detroit at the moment.

Detroit is a great engine. If Fitz didn't get their cheap hands on it, it wouldn't be giving you any trouble

The N14 was a great motor. I have no idea how it was on fuel economy over a Detroit, but I would certainly opt for the N14 if I had a choice.

If buying a truck from Fitz, can you insist on a Detroit remain instead of one done by Fitz?
