I'm in TnT with prime ALMOST done. And I'm trying to figure out if I want to go company, or lease. Any pros and cons to lease? How's the success leasing company? Throw in any info, thoughts, anything. I'm not asking for a business sense, I already have ran a business. I'm asking about the company and leasing program itself. Thanks guys!

Do a search on this site for Prime lease and you'll get lot of info.

I did, but I was hoping to hear from updated people who either have, or are leasing with them. I've read a lot of old threads, and primes page. But not talked to anyone who leases now.

Company ... decide if you even like driving, before you decide to go into business.

So in your last business. Did you just jump in without knowing what the heck was going on? That's probably why you are in a different business now.

If you have a lot of money saved and no bills at home. Then hey why not. But if you have a family depending on your income. Slap the crap out of yourself for even thinking about leasing.

Over a grand a week for truck payments. Anything over 1500 a month is robbery!

Search Kevin Rutherford. I would buy his audio set. It explains how to become an owner operator. You don't just decide one or the other because you graduated their training. You have to find a carrier that meets your needs then spec a truck that suits that operation.

Lease Purchases are the some of the worst ways to become a business owner.

I have no bills and pilot escorting is seasonal. In the winter we don't move at all. I have been around trucks my whole life. Business is business, only difference is it's in a truck not a car. Now, I have no bills, and plan on going co. For a 3-6 months, then going lease.
