Don't some of those flattops have a little reacher in the back to tow a second vehicle via it's front end maybe? Or leave it and come back for it on the second trip. Whats the hurry anyhow?

 

Yeah, many have a wheel lift for just this situation. It's held on by the pull cable, and the strap to keep it from flopping, but aside from a cop not liking it, it's a front drive mini-van, probably be ok. I wouldn't do that with an Explorer though. These guys probably get paid %, and 2 cars per trip pays better than just one.

As for the wheel lift (reacher bar) there is one on most rollbacks. If I don’t have a car in tow I can’t place a car in the top rack due to front axle being a little over at 14000+ pounds.

 

Beautiful!! LoL. Man, really starting to hate telling people this is from where I hale.. Bradenton, or Bradentucky is my home town!! I moved from there in '06 to Palmetto just about a mile across the manatee river. It's a real wonderland, & I'll leave it at that..

That's cool. I'm in Benson, AZ at the moment. Bradenton used to be a hidden little gem when I grew up here. Wasn't all bad, but its turning into an east coast hellhole.
