A friend of mine has the the new qualcomm, and it was freezing up on a regular basis. He finally figured out a cure. Keep the keyboard slid shut when you are done using it!! His qualcomm has not froze up once since he discovered the cure a couple of days ago.

Sounds reasonable, I don't ever slide out the keyboard (accurate fingertips!) and mine has never frozen up.

Twelve gauge would be a better fix. . .:biggrin_25524:

Mine is actually the opposite. Last week, mine kept freezing up with no response at all on the touch screen. I started leaving it open and I haven't, literally, had a problem yet. Go figure, huh.

It's all part of QC's plan to take over the world. They plan on being Facebook's sole source provider.

Took me twice today to re-boot before the touch screen would unlock.

Slide open the keyboard, hit Ctrl-Alt-Del, reboot.
