    Thanks.

The screen gets scuffed up rather quickly. It's a touch screen, and it gets a lot of use even within a few weeks. It's difficult to find a truck stop that has an adequate screen protector of the right size. One of the best uses for a GPS is that it's basically a map of the immediate area+, as a fallback for unexpected road construction or accidents. I can pan out and scroll around to look for the "truck friendly" routes, without having to find a place to pull off the road. What a PITA that is. It should take just a few clicks... but more often than not, it just locks up. Really? we are paying close to $5-600 for something that can't even "pan" a map around without freezing, or switch between day and night mode properly.

    Yeah, I am mad.
Is Rand expecting a Microsoft "solution" for their business? What's the track record on that? They didn't call Internet explorer "idiot exploiter" for a reason. :/

I just expect something that works. I don't want it to lock up, I don't want to fumble through the settings to get it to switch between day and night mode properly.

    Complete failure.

Well I asked you a few times for the Model you have. From this I can gather more data from you and see what the issue is.

So, again what model do you have??????????

I ordered a screen protector from rand for mine with the discount code you get when you buy a unit.

The issue I was having was way back in the first "page" of the rand support thread. now we are on the second page? what does that say?

Rand only wants the Money. Mark, Thanks for your free time, but they only care obout how much money they can make for the least amount of effort. They don't really need a decent product if they can just spew how "awesome" it is. Microsoft did the same thing.

Well this is on the 740, but you wanted to know about the x20//x30 what kind of screens they have..

I am not guessing... you could just put your model here instead of just posting stuff that has nothing to do with anything.

It seems since you don't want my help at all and enjoy just posting... Have a nice day.

when you decide to give me your model number then I can and will help you.

Support Thread is 431 pages long and on second part.
This thread is on page 11..

Why don' t you just make life easier for both of us and look on your unit and tell me the model.

I am in the middle of trying to figure out other issues and this back and forth with you is getting ridiculous.
