I passed my CMV test today. Even though I thought it was very straight forward, it was the most nerve wracking I've ever done. lol Happy New Year to all!

 

CONGRATS!!! So glad to see that you passed and got your CDL. Remember all your hard work and take care of it!!

 

Thanks, and I will. I still have a three weeks left of training on a 10spd and a bigger trailer. Took the test in a 6sp and 28ft trailer. Drove the 10spd on Friday, man what a difference compared to the single cab tractor. Anyway, have a good New Year.

 

Congrats on passing the test! Most of the "hard" part is just about over-usually whoever you end up with for a company trainer is a little easier than when you are testing BUT he/she may be a little strict,after all they are teaching company practices and rules AND "real" world situations! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO you and yours also!

Hey guys. Took a hiatus from website. Most just day to day truck driving and whatnot. Feb 3 I made a year and a half with swift. Just switched from an international to a volvo. Its cool so far. How has everyone been?

 

Same old. How is the big S treating you? Did you get any pay raises?

 

They are still cool, as they were on day one, its all whatever people decide to make it. They are treating me well. Yes I have gotten pay raises.

 

Just got a Volvo, betrayed my international, I think it put a hit out on me internationals are following me around more than when I was in one.... so if I go missing it got me. Anyway I never really liked Volvos from what I heard about them but this one so far so good. This thing is a beauty.
