On May 3rd I made 1 year and 9 months with Swift. 3 more months to go before I hit my 2 year mark! I'm very glad that I made it this far. Thanks to all of the advice and hard work that it takes to do the job. I still love it. And Swift has been really good to me and my family and friends. I can't imagine doing anything else after driving a truck. Forever glad that I made the jump from the job that I had to become a truck driver. It was worth it plus more. Looking forward to continuing down the road. It's a hard life sometimes but it's a great life as well. Kudos to all the other drivers out there.
New soon to be swift trainee!

It's going good. I finished training and have been out on my own for almost 3 weeks now. So far my only gripe is sitting around waiting for appointment times. Oh...and they changed the phone system, so now it's a nightmare trying to contact my DM.
-
congrats on getting out here on your own! I figured I was late on your training but glad you made it through. I have had a few of those waiting until appointment times most are tight ones but when I get ones that I have to wait on I just relax. That bites about the phone change. Communication is important. Especially when just starting out.

Thanks. I'm pretty good with my time management, but every so often something out of my control comes up and it would be nice to not have to wait for my DM to stumble across my Qualcomm message.
-
I know how that feels. Waiting for a reply back. That's great that you have your time management under control. That alone bites alot of drivers and then they find themselves rushing to get the load picked up or delivered on time.

Thanks to all the men and women who served in the military.

Was helping walmart with their flex for the last two weeks. Now back over the road.

Currently I am on a load from Texas to Washington state. 2348 mile load. Going pretty smoothly so far.

I a few hours from leaving home to do 3 runs. NC to NH. NC to OH. and ME to VA.
-
Nice! I have 15 more hours drive time before I reach the final. Are those three different stops on a trip or 3 different trips?
