He got really lucky. A load from Georgia pacific under 20k pounds going into mountain terrain. All he has to do now is keep it on the road through them.

Student made me proud. Initially set up to do a blindside again. All I said was you're doing it blindside? Got out and closed the door and walked back to the slot. He started backing up, stopped and turned around. Saw another slot he liked better setup and started backing into it using all of his space and no pull up. Got out and said, yeah I setup and realized I couldn't see crap. Saw this spot and it was better. I just nodded my head. Hope he understands why I'm against blind sides.

Right now he was just telling me how we could get to the final faster if we started team driving. I told him, I'm here to train you. There is no training while teaming. I told him he still has a few things he needs to work out before even thinking of teaming. We will get to final on time without teaming.

Missed the end of day 8 and day 9 but 9 had us driving across Texas and parking at a flying js for the night. Practiced more on his backing and getting him used to driving at different times. He isn't a early morning person who has driven at night so have to work on cracking that to prepare him for it in case he has a pickup or drop at night.

Day 10 has started and we are leaving Amarillo and getting into plains and mountain/ hilly territory. So far student has about 62 hours of drive time and 21 backs. He drove yesterday almost 10 hours with one stop. Did pretty good building up his tolerance for long driving periods. We have a lot of time on this load going to see if we can tcall it at a terminal instead of sitting a day under it. He needs to learn the process anyway. Will update later

Load has been authorized to be tcalled at terminal. On our way to deliver it to the terminal in Denver Colorado. Then will have student watch mandatory videos on kiosk and decide what to do afterwards, shut down in prepping for tomorrow or pushing forward after student takes care of videos.

I can't wait till one of your former students comes on here to give their side of the story.
Don't take this the wrong way. I wouldn't air laundry like this if i was a trainer. -
