Prefer loves out of the big three had a pm done last weekend. Apparently the mechanic who done it didn't screw the filter on properly. Found out today as it was big oil stain on side of my truck . Came into the newly built loves in Iowa took me in right away & fixed there mistake free of charge . None of the TA/Petro or pfj compares to loves in rewards and showers . Besides how can you not like there business model of travel centers

I like Love's reward system the most.

Love's itself... meh. No sitdown food, and mostly no laundry. Only in the newest fullsize travel centers... and suddenly they've started building a lot of the small format ones, now that they finally decided to stop shunning public laundry... funny how that works.

Company preference is TA/P, so I've been maxing out the bonus card game. Especially now that double points are a thing.

I don't care what they say, you do the math on fuel pumps running constantly at least 18 hours a day (there are slow periods I'll grant) and these places are taking in a million a month easy. Add to that they charge 3x for things in the store what most supermarkets can seem to make a profit on (and we're not even talking about what they pay for wholesale.) I could literally go to Shop Rite, buy out all their cookies and sell them in a TA parking lot at a markup that would still undercut what they charge in the store.

What they're doing with this pay for parking thing is extortion, plain and simple. Which is why I refuse to use it. Either I find a free spot or I go elsewhere. If I park behind a closed business for the night and the cops come and ticket me for trespassing (which has never happened in 10 years!) it would still cost less than using "reserved" parking for a week.

And this is why Company's like this do stuff like THAT cuz most of you all bend over an except it you are a sheepeople and the problem .
An if you sheepeople would gather around an park that truck right now during this outbreak be it your a Carrier,O/O Flease purchase victim, Or Flunky driver for the box company .
UMMM now would be a time to cripple it an put a hurt on the country an try to get our rates up to a fair price for us.not for whom has there hand in my company pocket.
As a carrier ,every time i turn around it is something. We do not have much money. BUT i been parked for a week cuz i will not haul cheap freight .
    i will sell out first.
park that byotch now,an walk away for a while, make arrangement with bill collectors. you think its rough now with no toilet paper, or tampons. NOW IS THE TIME TO ACT, YOU TALK ALL gangster ABOUT A NATIONAL SHUT DOWN, NOW'S THE TIME.

National crisis and you wanna shutdown. Unreal. Let's hope it's not your folks or your kids that need what's on these trucks you suggest hold hostage.

I dunno, I'm inclined to agree with him. And there's nothing on my truck right now that's gonna save anyone's life. (Although I'm currently empty.)

    More for you.

I'd be in a better mood if I was rolling but my load planner really flubbed this. 700 miles in 4 days.
Load Tue, drive 300, deliver Wed, drive 60 miles, load Thurs, drive 300 miles unload Friday.

Honestly, I could commute! But my boss wouldn't like the fuel burn.
