I start my CDL class this week it’s a 4 week course 160 hours. My question is do Tanker company hire new drivers or would I have to drive pulling something else until I get enough experience for them to lol at me. I’m in Cali if that helps even though I want to pull tankers I’ll definitely apply to every driving place once I get my CDL.
thanks in advance

Most tanker companies want 1-2 years of CDL experience. There maybe exceptions here and there. Tanker is definitely a better part of the industry. Avoid reefer if you have any other options.

Schneider Bulk does. Superior Heniff used to but I hear that they only hire new guys from a 200 hour school.
