I kept a little notebook with trucking company names and used that as a backup plan. Sometimes I'd cross one off or add another name. I have this thing about being unemployed and always had that on my mind.
I've never been unemployed or had to draw unemployment. That's just me though; sometimes people get in a situation where it can't be helped.
