new to forum looking for guidance on seat cusions

I had a separate cushion to sit on and a lumbar cushion. But my back pain is mostly due to sitting all of the time. Other people have sciatica pain. If you don't have pain for the same reason as my pain, then my cushion would not likely help you.

Is your back pain come from lifting too much? Can you walk long distances without pain or does the back pain also go down your leg?

 

A roll of paper towels mid spine provides me with some relief.

 

silverspur recommended a cd/book from the YWCA............that is not to sit on though..LOL
It is a book to help with the back, It gives you a program and how to put it in action.
I began it, and it can help anyone and is easy. But I need to get back to it.
I found it on amazon, who sold it for a nice lady on the net and she had all kinds of articles of healthy ideas that she clipped and tucked in between the pages, for those of us that still read zines and newspapers that you can hold onto, It was OLD the book and the clippings, I am fortunate to be the receiver....Thank You for that info silverspur. If I can push myself ( pain is a good motivator) you may have saved my life. And curing pain is a life saver as it bleeds into everything we do. I am really lucky because once I sit down ...pain is gone. just not for long though, like everything about us....it is use it or lose it.
