I am out solo phase three with roehl. Just finished my third load and starting #4 in the morning. All is well. Roehl is tuff but very rewarding so far.

just finished up my roehl phase 3 yesterday, nice ride home after 22 days out. Now I'm in the regular flow of the Roehl National Van Division, will call new FM friday for Saturday plan. Enjoying myself and still learning daily. This past Sunday went to the same shipper where I did my first solo run out of, wow what a difference..i think twice as fast. Thanks to everyone here on the forum who took the time out to give advice...much appreciated.

When you get tired of the pumpkin patch..... Crete is one of the best out there as far as mega-carrier choices. They are picky though. They don't accept all newbies. Very, very good company though!

Thanks Chompi, Schneider offered the most per mile taking my prior career into consideration. They hired me on as experienced, normal noobs get a 0-90 day hold your hand DBL, my time with her was 3 weeks. It was a good feeling to have that O MY GOD cellphone #, but only needed once to work through a shipper issue.
And my permanent DBL, love her
    Jamie you rock

I don't think Schneider is going to rip you off, however usually when a company offers more a mile it usually means you aren't going to run a lot of miles. Either way man, give it a shot and see what they have to offer. I don't think they are bad company but its just my personal experience to stay away from the mega-carriers.

Sorry but I don't understand the rest of your post....

Gettin anywhere between 2200 and 2600 miles per week. My dispatcher and I work well together. I normally have at least 1 preassignment loaded by the time I hit my drop point. I don't whine to her like alot of drivers do, its just not me. Spent 25 years in the Army so al long time ago I realized you get what you give. She knows I hate the NY/NJ runs so if I happen to get a crappy 200 mile sit and wait to be unloaded day, she tries to back it up with a 700-1000 mile run to get me outta there.

    scottybones Thanks this.
