If my comment or question landed on this forum maybe it was a brainfart typo. I believe , though, that I replied to someone on their comments regarding swift training. What this website did with it is beyond my control. Are you like a Prime trucking nazi or maybe just a perfectionist? Not sure it was worth your time typing such a helpful response but look at me with a whole paragraph of wasted life.

Yes, we are the Prime forum Nazis. You must do everything by the book or you will suffer the consequences, such as going blind, limbs falling off, etc.

I hear mixed opinions on Swifts program.

As far as the nazi comment, no idea...

    1. As long as you don't live close to a terminal you can take your truck home, as long as you have a secure place to park it, like the driveway lol. Trailers you normally don't take home.

    2. 2300-2800, yeah thats about right.

    3. Nope no forced dispatch.

    4. figure right around .40 cpm in a lightwt truck. so .40x2300 = 920 gross. Payday is on Fridays unless there is a holiday.

    5. Lightwts are governed at 58mph on the floor and 62mph on the cruise. As far as being under a hvy load goes, about the same, you will get heavier loads though with a lightwt.

    6. can't speak about the advantages of flatbed, reefer, hauls freight no matter the ecomony.

    Hope this helps

No biggy, I was pulled in to have my truck looked at after I had it only for a month, not even 15,000 miles on it. FM was trying to figure out what was going on, just could not believe that having me run against the wind and up and down hills was resulting in a 6.9 mpg. I had Freightliner pull a diagnostic on it, and then took the result to him, 52 pages worth LOL. Not a thing the matter, just a new truck with new gears. lol.

Was referring to this dude's eagerness to make someone (me in this case) look a fool (Is there any particular reason you are asking about Swift's training program on the Prime forum's, or did I miss something). been posting alot and really dont remember what forum this swift comment was on. I hit reply and that was that. Mainly an issue with j-wagons looking to make others look stupid so they feel smarter.
No issues, however, with folks having pride in their company and would welcome your input regarding Prime's training and reputation as an employer.

This thread is about what to expect with Prime. If you take the time to read it through you will glean lots of information. Also, there is another thread going about ask your questions here about Prime... that is a real good source of info.

For the record, I think you're overreacting, so don't worry about it.
