That happened to me ONCE. I ignored the call, later when coming out of home time my FM asked about it, I told him, my home time is my home time and I was not to be bothered on it. He said well we needed that trailer, told him, you knew where it was at, you could have had the driver come and get it as he (the FM) knew where the spare key was kept.

Never got a call again while on home time.

Understand that my FM and I had a great relationship and you need to develop that with your FM

Nope, the minute you unhooked that trailer they would be calling you. It has to be secure, and Loves and Pilot are definitely not that LOL. Sales/your FM will tell you where to drop it if you don't have secure parking area. I got to take mine home normally as the only place I could drop it closed at 6PM and was closed on weekends. BUT that was only if my final delivery was in the Nevada area. If my final delivery was in CA then I would drop my trailer at the drop yard there and Bobtail home. Then coming out of hometime I would bobtail back to CA and get a trailer again. Somehow I always got paid for those bobtail miles LOL.

Since we have a limited supply of trailers, sales wants them somewhere that they can be loaded. Taking one to the home 20 defeats that, and when you can't find a trailer when you need one, you'll understand why.

But i thought you had to get your 1st physical done by prime tho???? I think you do. I know for sure that youll have to get latter physicals done by prime(concentra) so dont do your next one on your own once this one expires. I went though the same thing with the birth certificate but that state allowed me to pay extra to have it expedited to me. In 72 hours i had it in my hands in time to board the bus to springfield. Have you tried asking if your state will do this for you? If so try calling back and asking again sometimes the person you talk to on the phone just doesnt know or is new. Try again. I wouldnt let that just be the end of it and you shouldnt either!

Yes, anyone going to Prime's CDL training will need to get a physical from Prime's on-site physician. It's part of the first day of orientation. However, I'm assuming he's from Arizona (just guessing from his name). Arizona requires a DOT physical to get a CDL permit.

While Prime doesn't require students to obtain a CDL permit before going to Springfield, it is very highly recommended to do so. Orientation is stressful enough without having "three fails and you're out" DMV written tests hanging over your head.

I am not giving up , I agree with having the written part done before going. AZ requires the DOT exam before you can test so I have to have it done twice. with my mortgage and my family at home I want to do all I can to ease the transition of the career change. I am currently a branch manager of two locations, and trying to make sure everyone is taken care of before this leap, just my nature I guess.
my concern is with all the students entering this and next month, they may just get all their seats filled ?
