New to Prime INC - What to expect (Springfield edition)

Business casual doesn't require button-down shirts. You are attending an orientation for new drivers - a 5-day long interview. You will be graded on everything, including how you present yourself. When you walk into the door at one of our customers you become the face of Prime, and the rest of us are judged by how you appear.

 

So orientation last 5 days. Business days or it does not matter.

 

Depends on how you come in - PSD, inexperienced or experienced CDL-holder, or upgrade to lease. Business days. Most things aren't done on the weekends.

 

So how does the lodging work after day 5, I will be a student needing my Class A license. I'm assuming that on Friday I would grab my bags & live in a truck with my trainer for the next few weeks while learning to drive? Or would I stay at the Prime HQ nightly & we go out to deliver only local loads at this point? I know that after I have my CDL we would team drive all over the place...

Ok I found that part, sorry if some of my questions seem silly. I have read so many different threads about different companies & training programs... Get's pretty tough keeping them all straight. Especially when some of the reading is done on my little cell phone screen.

Hey guys, I finally made up my mind to go with the top choice which is Prime and I finally got called for a date to go sign for the US Citizenship and get my certificate and be done with everything. The date is on February 7. I got my CDL permit now, passed all 3 tests but there is a problem. I went to a school my friend referred me to which was in Georgia. I was there for a week but I got sent home for not having my certificate of natural citizen yet. So now I have my permit but from the state of Georgia and im in Tennessee and I don't want to retest to take the permit test all over again cause I studied a lot for this. Also another issue is my drivers license address haven't been updated for over 3 years. So both my drivers license and my cdl permit have a different area on it. Can I still go to Prime like this? I cant change the address on them because you need proof of address and the house is not under my name or any other bill but car insurance, but the DMV wants 2
