guess the best thing to do is ask at DMV when you can you expect the hard copy. Personally I am not crowding it, I wont schedule the bus ride til I have everything in hand

Not in my case, I have my hard copy in my wallet along with my normal driver license. It may vary state my state. Like i said this is for Ohio.

I passed my permit turned in physical. All I have is the paper permit. This is in Florida.. is there a hard copy in FL I have to have? they didn't mention it at the DMV.

When I asked about it, they said you keep the paper with you and your regular license.

I learned this the hard way. Until you are issued a driver license that has "Commercial Driver License" on it, keep the paper copy attached to your 'regular' license.

I can't comment on the Stevens side, but I can of course on the Prime side. His revenue numbers are ballpark, but the fuel surcharge has dropped significantly- so have fuel prices. Your linehaul revenue can vary depending on your luck of the draw at the queue for loads.

I'd say his numbers for fixed costs are probably a bit low, but it's probably due to the year of the truck. The continuing specification changes driven by the federal government.

Bottom line... on a mileage-based contract there is very little you can do to increase your revenue, except drive more miles. It'll raise your costs as well. On a percentage contract you receive the benefits of increased rates immediately, and you can work the cost side to retain more of your revenue. Are his net numbers at Prime realistic? I'd say again ballpark... it all depends on your luck and skill at cost containment.
