Thank you very for the information.... So if I read between the lines there a bit, the truck really doesn't matter as far as the rider is concerned. Especially being the wife...
But the wait time is very dependent on circumstances outside our control... I get that. I am just trying to have my mind set in one direction before I get to the school as to which way I want to go...
Thanks again!!

I've seen a driver's SO in a LW... I don't think it would be a comfortable long term situation.
Flatbedders quite often are dependant on someone else with specialized equipment to be unloaded, provided at the customers expense. That's a bit different than bumping a dock and waiting for your trailer to be unloaded. Get your paperwork done and take a nap; when we're running hard, you'll need the rest.bentbiker Thanks this. -
Would it be easier to call a recruiter or fill out the apllication from Prime's website?
-
i called them and they asked me to fill out the online app, then within a half hour or so a recruiter called me back, this was a few weeks ago

, having drove for 11 years but been out of it for about 13 i called to see what its gonna take to get back into it, to see what i was getting myself into so to speak, that and i just had a major surgery bout 5 weeks ago, so i gave a target date for starting of may 18th in springfield. So ive already been working with Sheryl Lindsay, not sure the pro's or cons of having her but she seems pretty decent
