New to Prime INC - What to expect (Springfield edition)

Looks like a nice terminal to work at though.....

 

Both Springfield, MO & Pittston, PA terminals have mail service sections with box rentals.

 

LOL.

The Millennium terminal in SpringMo is kinda the "Taj Mahal", far as truck terminals go.

 

Except the showers, they suck !

 

EDIT: In reference to the rant Airmark quoted. I'll actually address all the individual points later.

I'd like to address every one of those individually, but I hav not got the time. That being said, let me rebut with: you're full of ####e.

The only thing on there that Prime does is fuel tax based on fleet average. And nobody 'fleeces' anybody into a lease here, you are never pressured nor encouraged to lease. It is purely optional. Anybody who chooses to and fails lives and dies by their own actions.

 

What patch?

 

I was forced into a lease. Was told if I ever wanted to see my home again I would have fleece a truck....... LOL.

I'm sorry, I'm being a smart ###. Prime doesn't force anything on you except a load if you're company and even then that's debatable.

I had to ask my fm and the leasing department multiple questions about leasing before I was even asked if I was interested. If you are interested in leasing, read Dave Ramsey's book, EntreLeadership, on how to run a business. Then ask yourself if you can run a business! That is exactly what a lease is. You are the only one that cares the most about your business, no one else cares as much as you do.

Ask questions, research how others have been successful, and then ask more questions. If you wanted to get into shape, you don't hire the 300 pound trainer, you hire the trainer that is in shape and do what they did to get there. Just like you doing ask a broke person how to become a millionaire, you ask an actual millionaire and so what they did. That's how you become successful here at Prime in the lease program!
