They do indeed require double clutching on the road test. I'm sure you'll be fine, it's easy to do

Hey Drivers,
It's been several months since I have posted here. I had a start date at SpringMo of Jan 5 and life happened and I had to move to a new area and take some local work that I hate. Trying to save up some money so I can get the ball rolling on this career move again. I've been trying to find some information in the forums here that I have either forgotten or simply can't locate again. So be patient if these items have been covered in the past.
1. Training and PSD are unpaid I understand, how long do those typically take combined?
2. I live in a small town on the SW Oregon coast am I still in a hiring area (2 hours SW of Eugene)?
That's all I can think of for now.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
1) During your PSD phase you are given an advance of 200 a week that you pay back once you are hired on by prime. PSD lasts usually around a month on average.
Tnt(2nd phase of training) begins once you officially obtain your cdl and once you pass and get your cdl you become a PRIME employee, you are paid 700 before taxes this is when any of the 200 you used during your psd phase starts getting paid back at I believe it's something like 20 a week I'm not 100% sure. Tnt phase usually lasts a couple months during this phase you are driving teams with a trainer and need to obtain a total of 30k miles on average this is depending on your fleet manager and Wethersfield or not you have any incidents while still in training.
2) I'm not sure I know we have a few drivers from that region your best choice is to call and talk to a recruiter.CuriousG Thanks this. -
