News flash: EVERYONE is a candidate to steal cargo. Everyone. Simply put, it's more likely that the people who are honest on their job application are more likely to be honest in their work than those who have already proven to be willing to lie to their employer.
The "not admitting guilt at an accident scene" is a bogus argument; they don't compare at all. It's not your place to determine who was at fault for the accident. Perhaps you drifted a bit to the left when you were changing the radio station and bumped a car in the left lane. Pretty obviously your fault, right? What you don't know is that the other driver had a 0.11 blood alcohol level and was legally drunk, and was weaving back and forth in his lane. He actually ran into you, but you don't know that.
Yes, I am a student at orientation in Springfield. This thread is about what to expect as a student in orientation in Springfield. I've been through orientation; most of it twice. I believe that I'm in a pretty good position to know what goes on here.

Half a dozen people in my orientation class were going to be trained by friends or relatives. -
so its just a formality for HR to ask that i guess..so when i call back what should expect to hear from them...I also heard that i have to pay my way there (im from charlotte) and will have to make it thru training without any funds from company...i have my cdl already and attended school but im unsure if all this info is true..i been reading this thread from beginning to get all info i can before calling back..

primes criteria for hiring trucker drivers is the minimal standards that the law will allow. I believe they are a self insured company because of cost efficiency and no insurance company would write a policy for a company that puts rookies on the road .
with that being said I am quite sure the people in the higher levels of the company would not realy have a problem with some one lying on there application about such a trivial matter (peeing on a dumpster)but I believe some low level fact checker in orientation got there kicks out of shaming some perspective driver in order to make him or her self feel more important (' ha; ha; I caught you in a lie now I am going to show you my power, get off the property" ) and then discussed it with rest of the class -
