Never mind. Taking my question to the other thread. You know, the one where questions about Prime are specifically encouraged......

The jobs I've had the last decade or so were not particularly conducive to taking meal breaks that frequently, so the weight added up. Once I get into my own truck, I can plan short (15 min) stops every couple of hours where I can eat a couple of hundred calories. That, and 30 minutes of walking, can get my weight to drop 5 pounds per week. -

Lol - no, I edited my own post and erased the question. You wouldn't have seen it unless you happened to be reading in the 15 minutes it was there. No worries. I may be new to THIS forum, but I'm an old forum hand in general. (I also moved it because the subject had already been under discussion in the other thread, and I wanted an update. Better there than here.)

Well I am all set to go, fully approved just wanted to get a list of all docs I should bring with me to springmo

You should get the official list from your recruiter. I know that you will need:
Birth certificate (state issued, not laminated, with raised seal; hospital record of birth is NOT accepted.)
Social Security card (for I-9)
$100 cash or cashier's check. NO PERSONAL CHECKS.
$50 for Class A permit if you don't already have a valid permit from your home state. (Pro tip: GET YOUR PERMIT BEFORE HEADING TO SPRINGFIELD! It will make orientation a LOT less stressful.)
Last 5 years of employment history, with dates and phone numbers.
2 personal references and *5* emergency contacts, all with phone numbers.
Voided check for direct deposit
Proof of name change (if your docs don't all match; marriage, etc.)
Recommended: An extra $50-$100. Prime will give you an allowance for meals during orientation (Tue-Fri), but it's easy to go over that by a buck or two. You'll need food for the bus ride (figure $10/meal if buying at the station), plus there's a Walmart within easy walking distance. -
So If I get my permit in NY and my license in MO when my association is over with prime and I come back to NY do I have to take my CDL license test all over again?? or will I have a class D from NY and a class A from MO?
