    Learned to lease inside in out? You've been out 2 or 3 weeks. How did you have anytime to learn how to drive?

    yeah, you got the winning plan. Ready to lease before you even pass the exam and get your CDL.

    <facepalm>

    You should know that only 1 out of 5 successfully complete their first lease. That means the deck is stacked against you. Jumping right out of training and into a lease is a really bad idea. At least read and understand the contract before you sign it.

    Good luck... you're going to need it.

    I certainly hope you are succesful. I do.

    However, if not, do us a favor, be completely honest if things go south and don't fade away into obscurity when things go bad like some of the others.

    stick around here and give us the details.

    With this attitude, being a fresh driver, I would stay company and learn the ropes on their dime, but since you know how to make money, get to husslin.

    4 weeks as a student? You "knew and know how to drive"?

    i never had a student out longer than 3 weeks. I've picked up TNT guys with some military truck experience who only had 2 weeks out before they tested.

    if your instructors excuse was he was teaching you to lease, id be suspicious. That's what TNT is for, plus you get paid for TNT. You got zilch as a student for four weeks.

    For one we took far runs to make some money...Two whats the rush either you had short runs or someone repowered you. If my dad still had his truck i would have tested on my own an came to prime with cdl thats how.
