I'm not going to call you an idiot, but I'm thinking you're make ng a mistake. Smaller companies are generally better then large megas. Why? Because they treat drivers better, establish better relationships with drivers, and pay the same if not more. They care whereas a mega sees you as a number and your dm or dispatcher just wants to go home.

Anybody can back into a dock. Not everyone can pull a deck. The local companies that you mentioned will take someone with flatbed experience because they can haul equipment for them and do more. Besides, running a deck keeps you on shape because you get to throw straps and chains almost twice a day everyday. Keeps you from getting fat and health problems. That's just my two cents but good luck.
