It's been a long, but exciting road! I might have even seen or talked to some of you before! But I am back and here to stay this time! I started driving over 30 years ago. My first driving experiences were with a volunteer and then a paid Fire Dept. Ok, so not a typical class A or B ride, but a tanker is a tanker, and my last FD ride was a 110' Aerial! Talk about an overhang! After 18 yrs. in the fire service, I turned my attention to the wrecker / towing industry. I had already been doing some type of recovery type driving while still a fireman, but now, entered it as a profession. I learned how to drive and operate everything from the typical wheel lift wrecker to a rig with a land-all trailer or low boy. I was wanting more experience with big rigs, so I started driving rigs only. I eventually started my own company and had gotten up to 5 trucks in my fleet. Then the economy took a hit! The work was still there, but getting paid wasn't! So, back to driving for someone else, which is where I've been for the several years. I am ready to make my final change, and get back behind the wheel once again, and add some more chapters in the story of my life. There is nothing like driving in my opinion, and my heart has never left! So, it is with a great sense of pride, I can now say, I am getting back behind the wheel and looking for my new home on the road!
