I've recently acquired my CDL in the state of Ohio without attending any schooling, I was aware of the federal mandate that took effect in this past February prohibiting the process of licensing without attending a school and knew I was skilled enough to pass all written and physical testing so I took a shot and passed. Now possessing my CDL with zero verifiable experience, and a spotty work history in construction for the past 2 decades, very little verifiable in tax history since most of my life has been (under the table pay) I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions, good tips for a new driver or absolute do not do suggestions for an attempt to start a professional driving career.
