54yrs old ex trucker 3 yrs. I'm on social Security Diability so if I go back to truck driving school I will need grants and/or scholarships. I am afraid to do tuition reimbursement or company sponsored training. If I get sick or injured on or off the job I will still be liable for the balance owed. On the little I get from Social Security, I won't be able to pay it back. Any suggestions as to possible sources and i will tell you that MO Vacational Rehabilitation, MO WIA, VA disability and my GI bill all will not work. If I am not in the right forum then please tell me which one I need to be in.
Thanks for any and all help.
Rev. Ken

Hello and Welcome to the Site

Ken, your in the right spot to introduce yourself. You might want to search the forum a bit for the school situation. There many threads on here about company training, and refresher courses offered. I don't think that you would have to start from scratch, but probably have to take a refresher, instead.
If you don't find what your looking for answers wise, feel free to start a thread in the Trucking Schools section under Questions from new drivers. It will get the most responses there.
Welcome to the forum, and I hope that you find the answers you are looking for. Keep us posted on what you decide.Baack, Rev. Ken and kickin chicken Thank this. -

Thank you very much for the welcome Baak. It kind of sets the right tone to start out with. If I have questions, do I ask you or the other members here or both. I have already found out I was 50/50 in the right spot but have been given some helpful I deas. I don't have time to track the all dow today, I have a sermon to prepare. I will however thank everone who replied to me for the courtesy of the reply if for no other reason. Thanks again-------------Rev. Ken

I appreciate the welcome. I plan to return more often if that is permitted. I'm starting to get my feet wet, I want to do it properly.
