Just wanted to see what the better flatbed companys are out there. I should starting school the first of jan. This is the 2 time i am trying to get in school the first time i was in the wia program an they called the day before class am said my funding was cut do to buget cuts around the state. So i found a good but i got laid off after six months with no call back date. i get the saved to go ahead with school. Any feed back would be great thanks

I can give you some names of flatbed operations. Are they good? That's for you to find out. Roehl, Wi. Western, Nashville. TMC, Des Moines. Decker, Ft.Dodge, Ia. Swift, Phoenix. Maverick, Ar. Prime, Mo. You might also try Mercer out of Louisville and Landstar and Malone. They are O/O's, but some O/O's have small fleets and need to hire drivers at times for their trucks.

I know that the travel does not bother me. I worked on locomotives for about 3years traveling all over the midwest. Would br gone a week to 2 weeks at a time
