Hello Fellow Truckers. I'm an owner operator who just moved from PA to Sacramento Area in recent Months. I've been trucking for 7 years and done Flatbed, Step deck, Reefer, Dry van and Tanker. I'm trying to get some information on possible Companies that are running out of this general area. I'm looking to get some good home time and NOT run coast to coast. I would appreciate if you can give me any information on any companies you would recommend. Pretty much, I'll considering hauling anything that I can attach to my truck!! I'm doing in depth research on this and have a few options, But I though i'd give it a shot by asking owners that have been in my shoes, or have knowledge of this area. I know not all good companies Advertise that much, But i'm hoping for some information from fellow truckers. Thanks for any info in advance!!God Bless and Drive Safe!!
New to west coast. Any info?

Bay area-L.A..........a big truck lane. Problem is, you usually hang around all day un-loading and then re-loading and then drive all night to get there. I'll throw a couple truck companies names your way, check them out. Ostercamp out of Pomona and KKW out of Pomona. They both due Sacramento area. Hendrickson out of Sacto isn't advised.

If you'll do dry van, Market Transport out of Portland, OR hires off of the I-5. Runs primarily I-5 as well,Company and O/O's. I'm from PA and moving west as well. What part of PA were you in?

I pulled from yuma or salinas ca. to nebraska and reloaded meat back to ontario. you want to pull dry or reefer. KKW as stated is pretty good

I run autos as an O/O from LA to Sac so I'm not expert on other cargo, but like others said, KKW gave me a good warn and fuzzy whe nI talked t them. You'll also see tons or GTI (Gordon Trucking Inc) and another carrrier that has the same initials, one has a dark blue cabs another light blue, and seeing as how they have a buttload of day cabs that tells me if they take OO's you can stay local. DOn't forget drayage either running containers around too, as long as you're CARB compliant (#### commies) you can do ok out here. Good luck brother!
