Yes but the the hood will be aerodynamic. And 2024 trucks will have mitigation system and lane departure system mandatory too .

These hoods are going away like full service gas stations
    How many here remember that??

Most drivers under 30. Maybe even 40 can’t drive a hood or that stick thingy on the floor and don’t even mention a twin stick thingy!!!

It’s a supply and demand decision and probably a government push for credits as well

Is the announcement you're talking about in regards to Kamala Harris and the EPA? I can't imagine 80% of new tractors being 0 emissions by 2030.. that seems out of pocket. My assumptions have been this new build back America bill will entail this transition of commercial trucks.

Yeah I got a chance to talk to someone at the WA state manufacturing plant who's real close with the heads of those types of decisions. He did directly tell me they have not had talks yet about WHEN they will discontinue the W9 series, they said especially with the shortage going on that things are really up in the air at the moment. I wonder where government plans will fall into that conversation as the industry seems to be on some real shaky ground.

I remember full service Gas Stations. ..They might of had a rack of candy bars and a chest type Coke machine when you put the .30 in the slot and slid the bottle to the edge of the rack.. they didn't sell crapy pizza and sub sandwiches & chicken strips.. they sold gas & oil in a 1qt tin can and washed your windows and checked your oil when they pumped your gas
Oh BTW .. what's those 2 sticks for in your truck ?
