Yes but the the hood will be aerodynamic. And 2024 trucks will have mitigation system and lane departure system mandatory too .

How many here remember that??
Most drivers under 30. Maybe even 40 can’t drive a hood or that stick thingy on the floor and don’t even mention a twin stick thingy!!!
It’s a supply and demand decision and probably a government push for credits as well -

I was wrong. 2027 is for light and medium duty engines. 2030 for heavy duty engines.
