New truck 3406e needs a turbo, upgrade?

    1496 seems to be $1850-2000 range from the places I have seen so far. Turbo supply had a reman for $1500 but it's hard to say what you will actually get.

    Here was mine before install. Paint is a red rustoleum high heat 2000 degree. Baked on and turns a perfect cat yellow after breakin and stays on. The hose was later removed and plugged hole for wastegate.

    Maggard359, that's a good idea. I hate the flakey turbine housings.
    would you mind sending me a pm to explain how I go about getting a brakesaver file downloaded. It seems a ton of people have them but not a lot of info on where to find them other then mr Haney, not sure if he's around or how to find him
