I'd also recommend a nice, bright flashlight. A clipboard comes in extremely handy, you might want to get one with storage inside to keep the BOLs together.

Safety vest (must be worn while driving) and fingerless gloves. Small tool kit, inside the truck shoes and truck stop shoes. Never mix the two. Tire pressure gauge and road atlas.

I am currently experience hives or bed bugs tho I can't find any sign of them. My point is, you never know how your body is going to react to different climates. So, bring a medkit with iburprofeen, bandages, some cream for itching, turnakit (if you really.. really..REALLY clumsy) and I would get a inhaler if you lived in one area most of your life

I have found that having a full brim hat (one that goes all the way around) is handy to have as well. I have to spend time outside sometimes and keeping that burning sun off the back of my neck, helps me sleep at night.
I also carry a small tube of sun screen for the outside arm. I like to ride with my left elbow out the drivers side window.fargonaz Thanks this.
