The reason I ask is that CoPilot insists on routing me through ATL every time I'm in the area... If one can't trust a truckers GPS to route you around ATL then how can you trust it on any streets to be truck legal???

It's that kind of stuff that makes me wonder how they can consider it a GPS for professional truckers.

I use it... I like it... And I like it more now as a simple mapping app after I purchased a RM730.

But I just don't see where it's any better than any car oriented GPS or Map App.

Copilot don't generally steer you on car streets you don't belong on. Unless your destination is on that street. It never once ran me through atlanta. There's also a section of freeway in oakland california it routes me around. Trucks aren't allowed. And same thing with 5 through los angeles. And uses all the truck bypass's in cali.

    Might check your parameter settings.

I do still use it and have the traffic purchased as its half the price of RM and can be used in my car too without moving the additional hardware around.

It's not illegal if you have a delivery inside the city, I think that's why Copilot takes you there. No GPS is perfect, however I like it's routing better than Garmin, which also has brought me to truck restricted routes.

Nope it's not illegal. And that's the only time I got routed on no truck streets. A lot in cali.

Anything inside 285 is restricted to Trucks. This is by GA DOT. You can make deliveries, but cannot pass through.
