Hi everybody! I've been reading threads for a few days, and decided to join, because i know i'm gonna have some questions soon, so here's our story...(sorry if its long) My hubby is a trucker for SLH transport in London ON, hes been there for 16 years. I've been on here because his company is losing there kellogs contract when they close their doors in june. Now currently he does a peddle run north so it won't affect him right away, but we know the time is coming sooner than later..that his job won't be around. We are very spoiled with his current job, he works nights mon, tues, thurs, fri home every morning good pay ok benefits. So we have been talking about moving out west, because there is more opportunity, thanks to your threads you are making the decision easier, as a wife i can say its a little scary the thought of packing up the kids and moving across the country. So thats that, i just wanted to say hi and thanks, your posts are very informative and helpful! :biggrin_25519:

You can never go wrong with going west.. I was bored of hauling freight on the 401 corridor.

So I packed my mazda to the brim, drove out to Vancouver and got a job the same day I arrived, It is truly amazing out here...

Oh and I forgot to mention, It's March 2 and it hasn't dipped below 0 yet this "winter" -- Snowed a couple times but it was melted within the next couple days..

    It's paradise.
