New york cdl, looking to work for superior carriers

I would think it would be a plus to be from NY, a lot of drivers won't go there..

 

NY is a big state. Where do you live?

There is a soft limit of 50 miles for most terminals but there are exceptions. The closest terminals are Springfield MA, Sparta NJ (more of a transload rail yard), Another one off 287 in NJ somewhere, and Pedricktown NJ.

Also driving upstate is a lot easier than driving nyc...

 

Pedricktown runs up to ny multiple times a week... sure Sparta does as well.

OP how far are you from the sparta terminal I bet they would base you out of there. I just started at pedricktown myself loving it so far... most days are running the clock though no overnights yet but to soon to tell....

 

There’s also Carry Transit which is the foodgrade division of Superior located off 287 in Oakland NJ. They are currently hiring so get in an application ASAP.
