    I never had a stable history. Longest was a year and 6 months. I still find company when i need it. I dont get tickets, no roadside stops or inspection. Past year no stops, no inspections no tickets. 2 different companies now. I might have a 4 leaf clover hidden in my pocket.

    With one exception, The Chinese military does not follow standard aviation rules.

    I can offer you this, I don't have anxiety or take any prescription meds for anything. That being said, in a little over 5 years driving big trucks I've had more than a few situations that caused me anxiety in the moment. If you are pre-disposed to anxiety, you might have some struggles in this line of work. Not that it can't be done, just a heads up so you know what to expect.

    @newbie102 @Parz --

    Something else of late to consider in your search....

    the overall trucking freight market has turned decidedly for the worse, since spring-summer of 2022.

    Thus--even drivers with ok records can now have more trouble finding decent CDL-A jobs.

    Personally, I expect this situation to get worse...before it begins to get better.

    If you were a "borderline" driver candidate previously (for whatever reason or reasons)--now, you simply may not make "the cut" at many companies. Because of the above--recruiters have simply gotten pickier than they were 6 months--1 year ago.

    Your best bets now probably are to look for entry-level/near entry-level jobs in the food delivery sector (examples: McLane, Sysco, Sygma, Performance Food Group, and/or Gordon Food Service)...and see if they have any jobs that you may qualify for in your area. Those companies are usually always looking for new help.

    Many of them are trainee jobs--but the timing for a given location can be everything.

    Hope this helps....patience & persistence now is EV-ERY-THING.
