    I have 2 more weeks till I take the test with the state man in illionis. My girlfriend will be taking the test on the sameday. We where thinking about going to scheinder to team drive . We are looking for advice from other drivers .( other companies, what to expect ect... ) The only good thing about schneider that i know of is that we can train together. In about two weeks. Any info would be great.

    Starting out with no experience, Schneider may be as good a choice as any to run team. Just make sure you work your way onto their team board ASAP. Trying to run solo loads as a team makes for futile, non-profitable work. But once you become experienced with 12+ months with a solid, productive work history, there are many more better options out there for running team. I hope you're still together after a year because if so, you guys can clear and save a lot of money with the right company and the right attitude.

    Well i just got off the phone with sni. I have a phone interview on sunday. If i pass my test on the 21st i can start on the 29th up in green bay.

    Going to green bay on monday. The wife and i are excited. Does anyone know how the bonus are payed out for the new team drivers

    Not usually paid in a lump sum. Most companies usually pay out their bonuses in the first three months time in installments to insure you won't collect and quit!

    You guys are going to do very well! Husband/wife teams are treated like gold and make very good money! Going to take some time to get used too though. Make sure to give it a good three months before you are acclimated to living on the road. It is usually a little tougher on the ladies to adapt to the lifestyle!

    Thank you chompi. We are in training now. Its not a hard as i was expecting it to be. Been driving with the trainer. Hit my 45s with no problems, schneider shifting is strange. But i will get it.
